Our E-Z Floating Smelt is designed for surface fishing. Tied just like our E-Z Smelt but with a closed cell foam core, "unsinkable".

We use it during the smelt runs in the spring and around dams below the discharge where bait fish are flushed out.

It will bring the biggest fish to the surface.

Just cast one upstream, let it dead drift down with an occasional twitch from your rod tip.

You'll be shocked at what may appear. Smallmouth love it also.
